How I Went From A Loving Loser To A Magnificent Love Machine

Several years ago, I was in a relationship that I thought was everything that I had ever dreamed of.  One week I was single, and the next I had fallen in love with a lady that already had two little girls.  I decided I was going to be a good Daddy to her girls, provide for my wife to be, and live a life of molten contentment, excitement, and overwhelming love and sex.

Looking back, I can see now that I had a full set of limiting beliefs, morals, and life expectations in place.  I couldn't see that then.  With those limitations set in my mind, I was actually restricting the relationship right from the beginning.  It's no wonder that I never experienced the love and happiness I deserved.  As time went on, the girls became attached to me, and created a special bond.  The younger one had accepted me as more of a Father than her biological Father.  The older one still just thought of me as her Step Dad.

We both ended up filing bankruptcy and giving up all the material things we thought were making us happy.  The truth was that all the material things did was to create more havoc because it was just more stuff to keep track of and maintain.  We got involved in a Church for help, but she didn't see how that would be any help to us, and decided not to be involved.  So it was just me and the two girls that kept on going.  The girls were confused on how to react to our changing world, and could see their mother getting more bitter all the time.

I new that I couldn't continue on this way.  I know that life had to be so much more than what I was experiencing.
